Then it depends. If you've got roots or if one of your mates has a stun like lasso, flamestrike may be the best thanks to its great damage.
But my favorite one is chain. It doesn't require any skill since it jumpes on every target it meets, but this is also so reason why its OP: you touch everything, even if you missclicked, and it has a purge effect.
Think forked is the worse of these 4.

| You guys are forgetting one thing about chain. You need to be able to see the units for it to work. Same with nova (for casting) but chain hits the closest unitd it is able to see. Flamestrike I dont even need to see what im hitting and ill still get alot of damage done Added (04-Feb-2014, 3:13 PM)

Forked is not weak nor carrion. Disclude flamestrike for a second when I say this. Idk many aoe build that can kill at level 7. FOK and carrion can kill footies when you are level 7. FOK lvl 3 carrion level 2. That deserves some credit of early farming advantages

| My most favourite is carrion swarm... because you dont need click on target just click in area and damage all units (many times i killed low hp hero who was invisible and i didnt see him) and also i think if you use carrion properly you can damage more units than just 16 (chain or forket is limited only 16 targets)

| y but dmg is decreasing with each target it touches, so that lvl 6 swarm only kills like 12 foots, and the other ones are low hp but still alive
