| How many people have gotten the Ring of J33bus in your CHF career and how many games of CHF do you think you have ever played?
Also how often do you think certain items are used in a certain amount of game play?
like i would say the J33bus ring is maybe used once every 4000+ games hosted on the bot.
the static orb used maybe once every 350-500 games

| I get J33bus ring probably about every 50 games or so. Not sure how many total games I have played way too many :P maybe like 20-40k games..
Most used item would be dust for sure I guess it gets used around 40 times in every average game. (by all teams together)
Spell shields probably the 2nd most purchased item in which case by the end of almost every game all players will have purchased it and the few that didn't should have in most cases :P
Penguins are used in almost every game that lasts very long now sadly.. maybe 1-3 times per game (by all teams together) depending upon how good the players can defend.
The WoG is also used a lot and when used usually it is the game finisher lately I've noticed that these have been working better for finishing people off. these usually don't get used more then 1-2 times per game (by all teams together) unless ur dealing with some really good defenders.
most purchased recipe items would be The mana staff and the heart of healing and lightspeed boots and frostys
Both of the basic healing wards are used almost every game during mass now and not really used for the rest of the game.
healing potions are used by me quite a bit but not very many other people, I usually use around 1-5 per game.
I'm probably missing some stuff here but maybe some this will be useful to you.

| Ring? Four times. Why? Because whenever I try to go quick econ mode, I realize that I have a CD to wait.
With the CD, ain't worth it.
Ain't waiting an additional twenty to thirty minutes for Ring when I can end game right away with donation abuse

Rest = Who cares. After all, strength is useless in this game.
For agi maulers, ofc
+20 claws and mask of death and orb of corruption is the deal for the buck
For strength maulers, ofc you must be retarded to even try but
Heart of healing and MAYBE at times immolation
For mana maulers, ofc just carry a pet and 1-2 penchant of mana with potions

Healing Ward/Deadly Ward = Hadn't seen a game without this in mass. Always team 1 mass pools for this. Admins swapping just for win is just sad.

| this is both a thread just for fun to see what ppl think how often certain items are used and also could be possibly helpful as well. but more so for fun i guess.
i used static orb as an example becuz its an item not used in many games but the occasional times its needed im glad its there.
just a good instance of an item that isnt used in many games but it is still an option when some extra balance is required.
also i dont understand why you guys think str sucks so much? agi heros are mostly maulers and i get they can become op no prob. and int heros are ofc great lots of mana is needed.. but for each str its +25 hp
having alot of hp helps alot for not getting focused because you die hard, and its easy enough to get a mana scepter so mana wont be a huge issue, and then you have tons of hp as well. i do prefer ranged heros though for most builds, but not all.

| I only used it twice in my CHF career. I did it on purpose to see what it's like and the 2nd time I was actually locked down lol.
Soldier's mask is underused. Maybe nerf the price a bit? Why pay that much to evade and it isn't apart of the recipe that I know of lol.
Scroll of beatings. 4500 gold for a scroll that can be dispelled is not cool. Players would save it for more important things so it would never really fall into strategic moments. Only for the troll. Sometimes the armour scroll too.

lol i think its like 3200 in 4.0a but yeah i also cut that price alot for this new ver, i was just afraid of it being abused when i first added it, my thoughts were better not to be used at all than over abused on a first release

soldiers mask is actually quite strong, it seems that u are able to atually stun opponents easier with mask than with bash or agility slippers(and u get the additional evasion)
ninja suit of stealth(or w.e the name is) is getting used a lot lately. the whole 2 ninjas= invisi needs to get fixed(if possible) although, i've been trying to get a rannged hero with mirrors + bash to perma stun ppl while invisible to troll them, but have no luck(lol)
bond, the gem store("Secret shop") isnt usually accessed by players. you should give each player a free gem stone to teleport there at start so that they can finally see it.
scroll of beatings can be dispelled by 1 jammy.
if ur ward of the gods gets dispelled easily, u are either: drunk, hungover, sick, noob, or unaware of how it works.
the purpose of those 2 items is to use strategy, not just send all ur units in and use them expecting to win.... you actualyl have to take out units to prevent them from dispelling ur stuff(thus the tactic of mass tping in enemy corner next to shop). u guys complaining about it being too expensive act like you don't know how it works and its kind of sad...Added (19-Nov-2013, 5:20 PM)

Uhh ring seriously.. the only tiem the games lasted long enough without me afking or quitting is ftd. So maybe thrice.
Bond one of the things with dota (i know these comparisons are honestly obnoxious, i used to fele the same way) is items are better with different heroes. In chf, it's Damage, Mana, hp. That's all you focus on is one of those. Some people go for mana for spells, some go for damage for mauling and some go for hp for tanking.
It's simple and i don't blame you, cause you can't make certain heroes better for certain spells. It's just main attributes that determine what they are.
One item in dota that's pretty wicked is "Refresher Orb" it's like potion of focus and resets all cool downs, which would be sick in chf, but should be expensive.
Man I commend you for making this game, because you can't make items for specific heroes, which was the point i was originally going for, but then realized, you can't make one hero a glass cannon, because you don't know what spells they will take, so youc an't make items for them.
ANyway.. this post was pretty useless in the end since I came up with rebuttles for all my ideas I just don't like pressing delete.
