| So, just wondering you guys who went through high school or college.
How did your school or a class you took or any classes that you know of (which you didn't take) grade the students? :) <Grading as in the progress report system >.< (which judges how well you did in a specific course) >
For me, my high school was: 99 = A+ 97 = A 95 = A- 93 = B+ 91 = B ;) and the other high school (btw, even getting the grades were so much easier >.<;) was: 98 = A+ 93 = A 90 = A- 87 = B+ 83 = B
And ofc in college: A certain physics class (I did not take ^^) had apparently: 2.2/180 = B- 2.5/180 = B 3/180 = B+ 3.7/180 = A- 5.2/180 = A
Hmm, and for a math class I took: 14/100 = B- 17/100 = B 19/100 = B+ 22.5/100 = A- 28/100 = A
^_^ Hope you guys respond instead of being mutes >.<

| Quote FirNesS ( ) I don't understand lol Oh, I guess the title is a bit misleading because I mean how does your school*/class* grade? ^^
Anyways, what I meant was, in every country, there are progress reports that reveals your performance as a student. Some schools adopt the A B C D F option, other schools adopt the point system, etc. I was just wondering how your high school or college or a specific class you know or took graded students for the progress reports. Like, .. hmm
Let's say I was taking in high school: Algebra II, English I, Biology, Photography and I received my progress report for the semester. For Algebra II I did really well so i got an A+. However, for English I I did poorly so I got a D. For Biology, I did so-so so I got a B. For Photography, the teacher liked me so I got an A-. ^^ Like that, still not clear?

| Grade schools here in the US rely on an A, B, C, D, F scale.
A- 90-100 B- 80-89.99 C- 70-79.99 D- 60-69.99 F- 59.99 and below
My college grade in the following way:
A letter-based grading system and utilizes pluses and minuses (+/-) to allow for variations of the assigned grades. Acceptable grades are A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, E (“E” being the designation for failure). The University did not use grades of A+ or F. In rare cases, a temporary grade of “I” (incomplete) can be assigned by the instructor, indicating that the student has every intention of completing required work for the course. Grades of “I” which are not resolved within University time frames will automatically revert to a grade of “E”.

Quote RosarioVampireZ ( ) How did your school or a class you took or any classes that you know of (which you didn't take) grade the students? :).< (which judges how well you did in a specific course) > I'd say my school was lenient in a lot of ways A* 90-100 A 80-89 B 70-79 C 60-69 D 50-59 F <50 So yeah anything less than 50 was a fail and getting a lot of D and C you would either be considered a failure and be retained (if you did this consecutively) or you would be conditionally promoted on the condition that you achieve nothing less than a B next year (1 C was permitted amongst all those

It was a pain in the neck back in high school when I got 95s... cause it was an A- and not an A hahahaha However, I guess in the bright side, it did force my classmates to be motivated students (a disproportionate amount of which in my physics class in high school went to top schools -.- including almost 34% of class who went to Stanford and Columbia alone o.O)

| I did understand the grading part Rosa, but what lost me was this part:
Quote RosarioVampireZ ( ) And ofc in college:A certain physics class (I did not take ^^) had apparently: 2.2/180 = B- 2.5/180 = B 3/180 = B+ 3.7/180 = A- 5.2/180 = A

But in college, high school, etc, everything is graded on 20. We don't have any scale out of 100. Btw I currently have around 9,3/20 all subjetcs gathered so I'm kinda in trouble lol

| Quote RosarioVampireZ ( ) Gasp! Study Fir. Study ~ :/<3 I can't, I did actually never work at school. So it's hard to start now after I graduated you know I need to get into it and I will but it might just take some time
Quote lotrrotk ( ) That would explain why you suddenly got "busy" but yeah do what rosa says Oh lol it has nothing to do with it, it's just I was kinda bored of chf and of wc3 in general. These days I'm almost only playing LoL, I was playing ranked with a friend like almost every day. Plus it was christmas holidays the past 2 weeks and I was busy hanging out with friends (yeah I had 2 weeks off and I didn't work a single time xD whereas I have exams next week xD )

| When i was younger we had
(roughly translated)
MVG - (Much very good) VG - (Very good) G - (good) IG - (not good)
Haha sounds kinda stupid but they recently changed it to that abc stuff again. Ofcourse i prefered the old system since i was used to it.
I know My parents had 1-5 when they were younger and my grandparents had some kind of abc system.
