| Happened that i needed reinstall my windows. I did that. I again downloaded warcraft3. But i have problem when i run patch its says "warcraft3 was unable to initialize DirectX 8.1 or newer installed and that your display drivers are current. DirectX may be found on your warcraft3 install CD under options." How i can fix that tell me who may know what crap is that." i cant run warcraf because of that. I have windows XP

go to properties then compatibility than run this program in compatibility mode for: windows xp (SP3) or http://www.microsoft.com/en-sa/download/details.aspx?id=17431

| Just google direct X and download the up to date one. I had that same problem long ago.

| direkt x9.c is ok, more than enough, if your graphics supports DX9.c, depending on the model of your graphics card, but I think it supports, if not older than 7 years.Can you say which you have graphics card, it would help.
If you support direct x9.c then the problem is probably in :
graphics card, try to download the drivers newer for it

| Its not the graphic card because its worked before, so you probably uninstall the drivers

| This happened to my old computer. I had deleted directx from programs and features because i was still a computer noob and thought it was a virus. If that happens you need driver discs to reinstall, not just a simple download from microsoft's website.

| Thanks guys for help. I fixed it. Problem were with drivers  now again i can play in alts
