What is the new starting tactic?

| So back in the day, you would each player would start with 200g and teamates would pool a certain teamember for 600g to get Scroll.
But the other day I went on CHF and now you start with 525g or somewhat if i'm not mistaken, so i'm here to ask, what is the new starting tactic? with all pool you'd have 1575g to spend on the mass, I imagine Scroll,wards, an aura maybe and a critter from crittershop.
Well I wouldn't know, i'm an older chf player there's probably a load of new stuff.
So yea what I want to know is, what is the new starting tactic with this more gold?

| it used to be 100-150 start +225 from selling boots so 325-375 each
now u get 100-125 each depending on code, boots are sold for 25g now, so not worth it
the best thing to get is healing wards or deadly wards (from the owl shop)
beast scroll is auto now so no need to buy it

| deadly wards are the best...but you can allways up attack .or you can get some good spells and you dont need all off this or ...well you have lots of options
IM NOT TOTALLY USELESS.....I CAN BE USED AS A BAD EXAMPLE

| If you see alot of ppl having aoes on the enemy side then getting a rat is good or u can just get healing wards or aura items asap in mass. or sometimes i just up attack once or twice before mass so the beast scroll adds that extra attack bonus into the buff for + attack.

you should make it so u cant see what spells other ppl choose...
anyways, usually its good to get alteast 1 aoe, 1 summon, stun/single target/aura, then w.e ulti u can manage

| hi there LarsAlex..... dont know you ... and looks you new here ... but the first thing that comes in my mind when you talking $ 1500 (all together in mass) is when red activate ssd mode from the beginning of the game ... that adds $$ every 10 sec or so to your gold ... so by the time of mass each of every player has $450 x3= $ 1350 ... end of story !!  hope this help you !!

Yea Rat was/is used a lot, but the problem is silence lasts for little time and it's hard to use it with the pressure of mass.(Unless there's been some changes, again I havn't played since 3.7 I believe)
I use to use owl. Owl is great at mass because its immune unless a disspell from Jammy, but unless SSD nobody gets him. Anyway owl sends damage to any enemy who uses a damage skill, which lays them off.
Still I'm ''outdated'' more start tactics are welcome and I thanks those of you whom have given answers so far.
