1: 175 dmg / 75 dmg / 200 aoe / 800 range / 1 sec hero / 2 sec units / 150 mana
2: 240 dmg / 125 dmg / 250 aoe / 825 range / 2 sec hero / 3 sec units / 150 mana
3: 305 dmg / 175 dmg / 300 aoe / 850 range / 3 sec hero / 4 sec units / 150 mana
4: 370 dmg / 225 dmg / 350 aoe / 875 range / 4 sec hero / 5 sec units / 150 mana
5: 435 dmg / 275 dmg / 400 aoe / 900 range / 5 sec hero / 8 sec units / 150 mana
6: 500 dmg / 325 dmg / 500 aoe / 950 range / 5 sec hero / 12 sec units / 150 mana

chain lightning
1: 95 dmg / -15% dmg per jump / 4 jumps / 125 mana / 550 aoe / 700 range
2: 135 dmg / -13% dmg per jump / 7 jumps / 125 mana / 575 aoe / 725 range
3: 200 dmg / -11% dmg per jump / 9 jumps / 125 mana / 600 aoe / 750 range
4: 235 dmg / -9% dmg per jump / 11 jumps / 125 mana / 625 aoe / 775 range
5: 300 dmg / -7% dmg per jump / 13 jumps / 125 mana / 650 aoe / 800 range

i kno in the start frost nova is better. but at lv 6 chain lightning kills footmen while frost nova doesn't. why dont i see chain lightning being used more. Not only that the target chain lightning hits first is purged (all positive and negative effects removed.). So PLZ HELP ME OUt WHY NOT CHAIN LIGHTNING

Nova>chain

Because nova has the biggest AOE in the game pretty much.

+slowing down from the very fist level.
And chain - only when you get lvl.

But to be honest, it's pissing off to see the 20 footman with 20 hp each after your nova..So much steals etc

Nova's been nerfed multiple times and Chain's been buffed and it's still better than chain. Lack of unit cap, full damage to all, the slow effecting both attack and movement speed etc.

This. Nova is good for multiple tasks, whether it is HK or UK.

because its worse than nova @ early levels.

it also deals damage in DPS, not instant like nova, makes it easier to steal the kills too.

Acid>nova UK and Hk nova sux ass now...apart from the slow effect which acid does too nova has crap all damage now...it needs to be buffed a little on damage and nerfed on aoe...

Nova doesn't suck for hero kill, you just don't know how to use it in proper matters, and trust me you all would know if you've seen me use it with hero kill.
