| soooooo apparently yesterday my house thought it was a good idea to burst into FLAMES
Damage was moderate but its still structurealy sound but it will be a month before we can move back in grrrr
on the bright side , all the damage is being repaired , were getting a brand new AC , the entire house is being repainted and cleaned from top to bottom professionaly , the crappy laminate floor that i hate on the first floor is being totaly replaced and a ton of shit is bein redone or replaced soooo all in all good in the long run . but for now were stuck in a hotel for a month or so

| what was the cause? electrical? one of my parents friends' home burned down. they lived towards the outside of town, farms etc. fire department could not get there in time. it was an electrical malfunction due to the new "smart meters" put in. these replace the ones where the utility workers "check" the usage manually. instead, they jsut drive by with a scanner(until they get an automated reporting systems working properly and is "hack-free"). so they have a nicer new home built in its place and were living in their guest house, lol
