age of myths was the original dota. came much before it. the reason dota became more popular was because aom had much much less variety. thats why i like LoL better then DoTA... it may be a copy of it but it has more variety and better balance excluding darius, shen, and ammumu. idc if it makes more money then dota, it still doesnt require money to play or even get an advantage in it. just takes money to speed up process of levels, ip gain, skins, and heroes occasionally.

Not really. Every champion Riot has released since Darius has been massively broken in some way. I'm pretty sure Riot's marketing model is to release insanely op champions, let the RP profits roll in, then nerf after a couple of weeks so as to keep some form of balance in the game. There's not much going for LoL other than it being just a fun casual game, especially not with Riot at its head. The chat service down for the majority of the day, the matchmaking is full of trolls, ranked solo/duo is a deathpit, and the OP champs are just dire.

| yeah some people dont like dota etc. but if you want some good players etc. dota 2 is where its at. you have to win a considerable amount of games before you play some of the best though
