| I was kinda sick of tropical fish and was over it. So i decided to buy a bigger tank with few Barramundi fingerlings to grow as pets. When I bought them in late April they were around 3cm. Now they are around 20cm with the bigger one close to 23-25cm (donnu how he out grew the other 5).
Anyways as a treat I give them live feed once a fortnight. Barramundi are native fish to Australia and are ferocious hunters and feeders. They will eat anything that is even few cm's smaller than them.
I have seen reports of eating other barra's which are only about 5cm or so smaller than the other.
