| Case reopened. The ban was too short; Bio and I are now investigating a further ban. In my opinion for abusing the ban command and abusing latency command 50 times he should be banned longer. Bio-assault what do you think?

| I am not sure where the idea that removing someone's admin for one week is a justified punishment for the extent of this abuse comes from but I completely disagree. There was no ban for abuse (in line with the current set rules) placed against this user and his admin was also re-instated. Why is it around here that someone can abuse the hell out of their admin, ban players therefore removing their ability to play on our bots without any cause and overall ruin an entire game for 11 other players and then get it back in the first place. If someone abuses to this extent then they should not be allowed to receive privileges back.
And was the maphacking report even investigated here? Cou, did you even check to see whether or not the player was using a third party program to cheat in game or did you simply write that off as not of concern? Certainly if this player did maphack (cheat) then they should either be permanently banned or banned for a significant amount of time. Maphack is the most widely disapproved of method of cheating on WC3 in general. Every community out there permanently bans players for using such hack. Why should we be any different.
On top of everything else, why was there no follow up posted to this thread? The player who made the complaint deserves a thorough investigation of their complaint and an official response and punishment given by an administrator. I don't find it fair that a player takes the time out of their day to log on to these forums and make a complaint to report such abuse and rule breaking and they receive absolutely no staff response.
b3p may have necroed this thread simply to annoy AL_GI but the question asked was completely valid. As a user I would have asked the same question.

| Honestly, I only punished him for the admin abuse. As for mh, because it was such a serious punishment and accusation, There's always another admin like b3p or Iconnect with a 3rd party programmed to detect mh that would post a double confirmation and statements, but since there wasn't a post, I didn't pursue. The reason why for the double confirmation is compulsory is because fog detector has always been proven to be inaccurate individually. This would be the first thread, to my knowledge, that no other admin assisted me with a double confirmation on the mh. As for staff response at the time to this thread, because there was a shortage of staff helping me out and I was the only one dealing with the spam wars, admin abuses and elo abuse problems going on, I must've simply not had the time to post, but I still completed the task set at hand that was available to me and followed the Guideline: Admin Abuse: 2-12 days. After that rough patch, it didn't take long to conclude as to why I pushed forward an admin purge, which caused AL_GI to lose his admin anyhow.

| @Random and Bio: I'd like to ask for leniency for al_gi. he's had a clean track record before these offences. He's been with the community for a long time and to permanently or severely ban a veteran member of the community would be a harsh decision indeed.

I do concur, I will not pursue a ban at this point against him for the offenses. My only point here is that he has been disqualified for game mod. This is not conduct we need representing us any further.
