| should have a "pay back system" not sure how you would implement this though or make only wood tradeable, 1 wood = 50% of gold?(discourages mass pooling and tahts like the "accepted" trade rates in ladder)

| if you're winning and they can afford to pool 10k are you really winning?
if you are winning and you have gold but don't pool it even after an opposing team takes the lead by pooling is it their fault you are losing?
