You can kill an altar while it's in the safe spot with 1 shot from a beasted demolisher, 1 wind walk attack from an even semi buff hero etc. Also you can MR alters too, oh and divine shield keeps you from dying to it, so with a potion you can go in and MR it for your own use and safely return it to your base.

You can also transmute an altar btw
and u just have to keep ur opponent's base revealed with a critter
as soon as he brings that altar down fromm zeppelin, use invul potion and pop speed scroll then go transmute while its in starfall( not divine shielded while starfalling

yeah same shit happened to me, was ssd, guy had 3 hereos, 2 with dnd as their ult I sent penguins in and they died almost instantly I just left after wasting that much gold lmao.

Altars are transmutable in other maps, but in CHF they are no longer transmutable.
