I watched the replay and he was mad cuz you did -test afk and took his money. Did you offer to give it back when he showed up? That is the correct thing to do. I did not ban this time, but next time i will. OttoJ, The Old Man I play for fun, fast wins bore me and make me feel mean.
I am trying to show mercy, yet keep the play good. If others want to ban it is ok. I just know that i have lost my gold to afk and others were not returning it. That is just as rude as a base kill. So i should ban both in this case, yet i choose not to ban either. OttoJ, The Old Man I play for fun, fast wins bore me and make me feel mean.
If the player was AFK then he deserved for his money to be taken. He was causing a negative impact on his team by being AFK.
It's a cut and dry situation, if someone violates the rules then they have to receive punishment for their actions. -test afk is part of the structure of the game. The whole point of it is to allow the team to take the money of the afk player to aid in their overall goal to victory. If he was AFK he was failing his team. Therefore the team had the right to take matters into their own hands.
Seeing as he didnt return until after 2 minutes into the game he had a severe negative impact on his teams start. Giving him gold at that point would be utterly useless as he lost all exp potential by not participating in mass. With a lvl 1 hero he simply would have fed his opponents. I would have not given his gold back either.
Player banned for two days for TK. We don't get to pick and chose who to ban. The bottom line is, he violated the rules therefore deserves punishment. He ruined the game for the player who he TKed.
And no, you can not ban someone for using the games built in commands properly. Which is what Arni did.
