This Idea has been proposed before. I was planning on making a good formula. I'll get back on that and get back to you.

Hero killing already impacts the game too much. People need to learn to play WELL, not to just camp heroes with easy builds.

Yea, its getting quite annoying, at least add some limits so only people with certain stats higher than "X" can get sprees over 6 kills or the game auto kills their hero. it could work!

Cuz nubs kicking butt is annoying.

So am i trix but why would u do that with hk's hella unfair
and the whole idea of getting extra gold is unfair Because if u have like 17 kills and somebody else has 12 or something. A person with torrential will kill the person with 17+kills for the extra gold

I think we should just add a sound effect for killin a guy over with 13 kill streak.

No bounty, or prize, just sound effect.

Agreed with Cheesy, that favors certain builds over others in a way that may negatively effect balance...

I still however push for my idea I posted forever ago on the old forum that hero value for kills should be scaled with level so killing a level 1 hero is not financially equivalent to killing a level 18 hero. I'd still cite the same reasons such as respawn time making it currently more efficient to farm low level heroes making the game suck for them with less reward for taking out higher level opposition.

I have a formula to redo the whole hero gold bounty. This new formula gives more gold for killing better players and less for killing noobs. If Implemented it would lower the learning curve of the game and make the bounty recieved for killing people on sprees higher. I have put in about 3 hours of thought and math, working with many different people to develope this. If you do not Understand how it works I will post an explanation later.

First of all I have some Letters to represent the Values in my equations:
(M)ultiplier = (Hero Level/10)(Total Hero Kills+(Total Unit Kills/10))
(T)ime = Gametime in minutes
(S)pree = Hero kills without dying

When a hero is killed this code should run. All values apply to the hero killed, no Special bonuses are given if a low level kills a high level or if somebody with a low Multiplier kills somebody with a high Multiplier.

If S < 5 Then
100 + T + M
Else If S > 5 and S < 10 Then
100 + T + M + M(0.05(S)^2 + 0.05(S) - 1)
Else
100 + T + 5.5M + (((S - 10)T)/100)

Note: This Formula is not final but I advise you plugging in some test values before you make an opinion. I also Propose a Spree Bonus of (Spree X 10) to the Hero killer every 5 kills. It would help offset the increased heat on the hero for the raised bounty.

Unit kills needs to be far more than per 10, 10 units does not equate to a hero and I think 30-50 would be a more reasonable number for the divisor in that.
