another way althou time consuming. U can make 10 alts play 300 games on each to make shitty score loosing on purpose then convince pros to play on those account on ur team to make ur elo go up way way way way more then it should. this way u will have fake score and can reach no 1 position in this prestigefull game. But i must warn u- u might end up getting hated by 90 % of cuminity and betrayd by your best friend. There can also be obsticles on the way, allthou u might get banned if u break any or a lot of rules a long the journey but this can be countered with a 20 dollar donation so u can do whatever u want any given day. unban every alt u use to up elo ban ur enemys. back in the good days u could even kick one of the shamans in hpmm for lagin 1 second to win the game at any cost. spoofing people is not a problem either... u can Even ruin a bot on ur way to that top spot. alltho be carefull it might justl culminate in someone hijacks ur account and change the password  no names mentioned for discretion purposes

| A couple questions… What is best position to be in for mass? I know you shouldn't be all cooped up in your corner, but is it better to be pushing another team back into their base?
Also, do you think that it's usually better to wait for pengs or to tech for basekill?

| for mass its like you said, being cooped in the corner is disadvantageous becuase it limits your footies
strike zone making lvling up slower
also spreading the footies too much isnt good as they will die too fast and youll get overrun 
in general, pushing into an enemy's base after mass is desirable and if you go a rush build like black arrow then its a must
about peng or tech, it depends on the situation
for example if enemy got transmute it would be better to get peng
or if there are 2-3 strong teams then tier can be useful against all of them but peng will only take out 1
team
best way to learn about the game is to play with pros and look at what they are doing.

| there are many tech builds , all of them have unholy aura , at least 1 aoe and serpent wards , stun etc.
a good tech/golem build for mass is unholy serpents flamestrike / carrion vengeance / phoenix or even tower.
