| actually i messed up the poll so it doesnt have all the options but i just wanted to get a discussion going about the pros of cons of different aoes in different situations

| In this case, flamestrike without a doubt.
So easy to farm, so easy to fuck heroes up with, good control, good "pubicide", etc.
Not too bad on mana, cd is pretty quick, AOE always increases, cast time always increases, casting range always increases. The gayest aoe ever, and most importantly of all aoes that can kill at level 3 IT NEVER SHARES DAMAGE.
The only thing shitty about it is that it doesn't attack air but thats honestly it.

| Flamestrike.
Flamestike At level 7, you can kill foots alone. Back in the early days of flamestrike, everyone use to wonder how I levelled fast and saved alot of gold without tomes :d

chain lighnting also kills foots at lvl 6.
i like chain lighnting. you can get a couple of hks with it when a hero tps and u just hit the closest unit to it, it will most likely hit the hero. + that purge effect
then i like frost nova, the slowing effect is so rape and has pretty low cd.
cou, i never saw u using flamestrike, adam_cz came up with this strat, dont try to take credit from him. wait, perhaps it was mehrquack(mehrquack productions)
flame strike is good for killing units that dont move as much(or run into the flames), so i think its better as an anti-donation spell.

flamestrike at level 3 sorry. 
What I meant was at level 7 you can gain easy level contrast to level 10. Take empale and its easy levelling.

| I agree Cou but in an in house you rarely see people pick flamestrike, because you have to channel it for a second and it's easier for enemies to move out of the way.
So in an in house or 3v3 with pubs would you say chain or nova > flamestrike

Inouse is hk + stuns. Tech is impossible in inhouses as well. After flame its defintly nova. Its been nerfed time in and time again and that one spell can change alot from mass to extra magic damage with banish

| IMO in an inhouse its very hard to choose between chain, forked and nova.
nova is the best for mass and it has a nice slow
chain is great for countering rats, does more damage than nova slightly, gets a slow later on, has a low cooldown, but doesnt work with banish because of purge.
forked has awesome range and can counter rats prettty well.
swarm is the worst in my opinion
nova and chain its a hard call, id have to go with nova but only because its better in mass, and mass is so key to winning in chf.
late game id much rather have chain though

| Flamestrike best AOE for me, lvl 6 = 1350 damage. 
Of course Flamestrike AoE can be avoided moving Army.

Want a summarize lol ? Flamestrike = 2 AOES AT EACH LEVEL.
3 vs 3 with pubs or only pubs flamestrike >>>>>> all.
I find that flamestrike or donation are gay that's why I fast never use those spells. (Mass op newt + Flame strike)
Same for serpents.
This is why some noobs team looks good.

| Fire strike IS 2 spells. Heck, it does more than coil damage and it is AOE.
however, I say inhouse, best aoe are the INSTANT ones that stack with BANISH or are just good :P
1. Frost Nova
2. Wards
?. Cold strike (it wrecks mass in inhouse games :P Just shoot a couple in the enemy's footy lines and late game..prevents kodo rushes and free hero steals)
