in 1v1 you pretty much move around with your units.
using TT will only make you an easy target to kill, doesnt matter if you'll have a TP/life pot as long as you are constantly being attacked by foots etc it will be hard for you to time TT and pot/TP at the right time. so a kill for a kill isn't making it any good.
get a cannon, kill your foots. don't upgrade the tier, shouldn't be needed for a long time.
try controlling 1 group of foots with your lasso etc to hk and make them stuck in your base get frost towers if you are having problems with stunning.
i'd go bears/acid/lasso or something similar u can buy rats to silence them as well (good counter against medivh without tp) shaman for dc, newts for nets.
But the thing is the hero keeps teleporting out of the base. And what if someone attacks me with a large army?

I have had a lot of luck with this build for 1v1.
Ranged Hero Nova, Black Arrow, Healing Wave, Torrential Tribute
get nova first and it will help you start to win the mass, just keep aiming at the units, then next get healing wave and start healing them and then black arrow and at these point keep lvling up the black arrow as much as possible, don't lvl it past lvl 5 tho your going to need the extra units. buy the scroll at start or as soon as possible and then chimes, you probably wont make enough for any other auras so just start getting unit upgrades after that point, as soon as your hero hits lvl 6 use torrential tribute on there hero, leaving them with no hero they are pretty much defenseless, and they probably have not purchased a jamie because you didn't pick that until ur 3 spell so they would have already most likely spent there money on golems or something like that, attack there base and keep your hero in the back healing from time to time and also casting nova from time to time, you will quickly destroy them.
I've been using this build and I'm really happy with it. The only things are that what is "the scroll"? What's a jamie?
Also, I notice once I Nova them, they manage to get away and I can't kill them in time, because black arrow isn't that effective. What do you recommend?

I just use a potion in time, lol.
Wow thank you all for helping me so much. I just some more info on what to do with my money. Craft stuff? Up tier? Idk really!

to avoid his fire bolt, get spell shield. equip you base with frost towers. and if you have aoe, spend your money on tomes. if u have auras ect tech eltan I'm here to help :D
I should kill my units, not upgrade my tier and not buy golems? What do I spend my money on??

Ok so:
I chose Black Arrows, Healing Wave, Nova and TT. He chose Fire Spawn, Lightning and Flame (stunning fire attack).
I started SSD mode and with 5g/sec I was able to up grade attack of my units to level 3. Mass started. I beat him, got to 6. Bought golem and fire tower and started killing units. He came to my base and was confused because nothing to kill. I stunned and attacked with golems, but he Tp'd away at last second. He attacked with army, I beat them. Bought 2-3 more golems, TT'd him and killed his army. Leveled to like 15. By now he got death tower. He used at my base and went away, and death tower is so strong that I couldnt get rid of it. He started killing my units with death tower, and leveled up to 20 (also killed me a couple times because I lagged). Used max death tower at my base. Killed me with forked lightning and flame, brought his tier 3 army and killed me.
I spent my money on golems and got base to tier 2.
I will add a replay asap, my laptop is broken atm and I can't play.
