The specs wont do crap if the internet itself can only reach an ideal max of 11mb/sec ..LOL

plus this is a desktop...not a laptop like me using hotkeys for everything (no mouse so i have to depend on hotkeys making aoe hard too) -Laggy-

8gb of ram is huge!! you better be getting some pretty good graphic games thats a ton! Ethernet is WAY BETTER!! at wireless you can only max to like 20mbps and thats with the big plans but the ethernet is anywhere from 2-5x faster

Beans, do a speedtest with your ethernet connection.

well think like this

say that u went wireless and its max (Limit) speed of 25 mb/s (This is theoretical number). That means the actual mb u get is around 20 and thats when ur SUPER LUCKY. No matter how good the spec is, it cannot go above the theoretical number since the world is only giving u 25 mb/s.

Its just like this. U want to get 100 out of 100 but u know the highest u can get is 50 cause its out of 50 points.
U cant just beat that flaw... :P Theres Limits -Wireless has more.. plus a desktop doesnt need wireless anyway-

ill show u a s/s of my bottom right screen. It says 100 mb/s. i get this site loaded in about a sec unless i did switch user(always entails a ping spike which makes everything load slower). alex i already posted my speed test btw. it was only bad cause this computer is slower than our others.

PC speed hardly affects internet speed

If you mean the connection icon, everyone who uses ethernet has that. Connected Speed: 100mbps. It doesn't mean your connection runs at 100 mb/s, because 100mbps is the speed from your PC to your router, not your package speed.

my package speed gets up to 120 mb/s. my pc has huge effect on internet speed cause the cable port is missing some wires so it cant connect them all.

this is how i know you have no idea what you're talking about. theres only one ethernet cord you don't need any others.

also the only internet speed affected by your pc Is when using wifi. wifi depends on the reception of the device.

16 GB is a complete waste of your money.

What GPU did you take? If you went ATI GPU, then AMD is a good partner. If you went nVidia, you picked the wrong CPU.

Quote
Intel processors usually have more LVL 2 cache memory in them. The cache memory is the absolute fastest memory in the computer. It resides in the CPU. The more cache memory that you have the better the performance will be for gaming/photoshop/music editing

AMD processor chipsets are programmed with ATI graphics cards in mind. They will fully utilize the ATI graphics cards. Intel processor chipsets are programmed with nVidia in mind.
