i am making my own computer over winter break, its alot cheaper and im just wondering if all these parts look good and what else to get!

1. If you're gonna get a GTX 580, I suggest you take 2x GTX 290's in SLI instead.
2. Why do you need 8GB RAM? Unless you're gonna render 20 things at the same time, simultaneously run video editing, and like 6 HD movies on WMP...
3. i7 2600K? lol dude...

Well if your looking to play like Crysis 2 competitive on max settings, then sure take it. But if not, just don't bother. Get a prefab Dell, as I said. What this looks like right now, to me, is a kid with too much cash to spend, buying the most expensive stuff in the store, and then not knowing what the hell to do with it

looks good but i would go with western digital for my DH and also i would go with Corsair or OCZ for ram but i guess g.skill is ok..

If you put all your games on an SSD, they'll perform better. There's no need to put regular files/programs on an SSD, it's a waste of space.

If you use it correctly, a 64GB SUPER SUDDEN DEATH HDD is more than enough for: Windows 7 + Programs (incl. games)

The rest of the data goes on the big mechanical HDD.
