No way that's a birthmark ; look how it stands out on your version. It ruins the image, at least for me. 
I thought maybe it was really just a black spot that you placed there by accident. It's not visible on any of these:

Meh, I've deleted the .psd now, so not so easy to fix, I'd have to do it over again :P. Maybe you could just ignore the black spot ahha. Shame on the photographer/editor >:(

just take some of the skin nearby it on the fire one and replace it on the spot using the clone patch tool.
