| Quote FireHart ( ) Why do they say it's from 2012 :S Because that's the picture from last year in forum. I was too lazy to screenshot again.
This year, I only did SAT Physics and ACT. Fortunately I got 35 on my ACT English so I'm sending that with my 740 on SAT CR. The school I plan to go only takes highest on each category so ya...I studied for ACT this year :l
Anyways, safety: UT Austin (my 2nd dream school) high safety~super low reach: Georgia Tech (my 1st dream school)
UT Austin is better than Georgia Tech but I aint paying 3000 more dollars a year if I could xDDD IDK, other than my gay 10th grade gpa, I'm pretty stacked lol

| Congratulations! I haven't read the rest of the posts so I don't know if you've addressed this, but which school is your first choice?

| Quote Trixxareforkids ( ) which school is your first choice? 1. Georgia Tech 2. UT Austin or Colgate 3. Either Madison or Notre Dame or Emory or UDub 3.5 College of William and Mary 4. UCLA, UMich 5. UCBerkely, UIUC, Carnegie Mellon 6. Syracuse (expecting full and NOTHING but full scholarship anyways :P)
I know UCB, UCLA, UMich, Notre Dame, Emory, Carnegie, Colgate are good schools but its the cost :l And plus, for my major, Georgia tech rank 18 in world for math, UT Austin rank 20 in world for math, and UMmich and UCLA and UCB respectively 17 15 2-5. Also, I might consider engineering minor so Georgia tech rank 9 in world for that (same rank as CalTech in america so ... xD)
Basically, my safeties are all WORLD top 20 at most and my uhmm...super low reach (Georgia Tech <= Heard it got really competitive this year due to common app switch) is top 10 engineering/top18 math IN WORLD
Now now now, I'm not saying USA, but WORLD rankings. Basically, these schools for my major are competing with rankings against CalTech, etc.
Reason why I'm not applying "better ranked" schools: Most schools in USA except IVY that are famous are sh1t in math. I only really considered Notre Dame, Emory, USC due to its brand name in the US cause they are basically all top 20 schools (similar ranking as the lower ivy league)
