| OK this is a guide on how to remove stupid website re-directors / redirectors from your computer.
You probably already know that the Virus is not a normal virus because your anti-virus programs didn't block this, so it's remove is a bit different then a normal virus.
What It Does
The re-director that I was having an issue with was http://www.somoto.com/ it would in fact not allow me to search or go to any websites on both firefox and internet explorer. This guide will remove other similar re-director sites also not just the one I have listed. (You may be able to still search using another browser such as Google Chrome, Oprah, Netscape etc.)

How To Remove
first turn off your JavaScript
Tools > Options > Content, and uncheck Enable JavaScript.
then download and run this root-kit cleaner tdsskiller will take about 30 secs reboot and your cured then go turn JavaScript back on.
