Mask of Mana

I have had this idea for some time now and basically its just mask of death but it would restore mana not hit-points. I'm thinkin 35% return costing 1.5k?

would not stack with mask of death.

I realize that this Item Could make heroes like Jaina Very Powerful, but the same can be said for the mask of death and maulers can it not? Also Jaina's Mana Shield can always be dispelled.

Jaina's mana shield used to be dispellable, I don't think Jammy does it any more for some reason, maybe shamans/wizards do but unsure. I think this could be a good addition to the item set though I'm unsure about how well it would fill a new role. It would let maulers have full mana all the time if they got it, on casting heroes it seems like it wouldn't help them more than buying some scepter pieces would since those replenish mana constantly. It seems like it's almost entirely useful for Jaina but could still be interesting even with that.

I like the idea. And maulers wouldn't be too OP as they can't use mask of death with it.

Maulers dont tend to need mana. Maybe if you have lust but besides that it is usually passive abilities for maulers.

That said this would be pretty cool.

questions that could be ask is will both melee and ranged atks gain mana and will it make moves like frost, searing, black arrows free from mana use. I like the idea.

It would work for melee and ranged but it was not planned to be able to stack with orb effects. I do like the idead overlord tho, but i think 100% mana cost reduction would be op. Maybe 50% mana cost reduction for special arrows in addition to the mana gained from attack.

I have been using black arrows a lot recently and you don't really need mana with it. Im not sure with frost an the others tho.
