Howdy all!

ChrIsicera here just checking who here appreciates the full glory of MVC2. It's the game I'm the most interested in and if you are too post here! This topic covers the whole spectrum of MvC2 discussion from team chemistry, to combos, to meta game, to low tier, to reflies, to tournament placings etc. I would love to hear what teams you each play and any major events you've participated in.

I used to play the arcade version a lot. I played in the China Town arcade in NYC and was able to match up with a lot of the best players. I know a lot of the infinites and stuff.
Some of the teams I use for serious matches are:
Magneto, Psylocke, Storm
Magneto, Sentinel, Cable
Sentinel, Storm, Iron Man

Some of my fun teams:
Tron bonne, Jin, Juggernaut
Guile, Amingo, Hayate
Jill, Cyclops, Guile

Snap, you played at Chinatown Fair? That's the good stuff right there, that's EC gold when it comes to MvC2. I of course can do the ROM infinite, anti Sentinel infinites, and some others too. So for serious stuff you use MSP, Rowtron and Combofiend 2? I'd be happy to battle against them with my Sim Sent Cyke, Sim Spiral Sent, or various more normal teams (Matrix, MSP, etc.)

So you have no Santhrax variations aside from combofiend 2 that you play? That's a rarity I'd love to see your stuff!

Well, I'm really rusty and haven't in maybe 3 years. Those are just teams that I liked to use. Sometime I would throw in other characters like Captain Commando if I knew my opponent liked to fly a lot with storm and sentinel. Those are just the main three teams I use when I played at China Town, I would never have tried something like Tronbonne, Jin Juggernaut there, LOL. How would we play each other, I don't have any of the game consoles :(.

Can't wait for MvC 3 though.
