i dont 1v1 but i think i can counter it ur peasant build. if im understanding correctly, peasant build relies on teching and the fact that peasant can blink out of danger quickly(with auras). a nice aoe beetles/wards build lasting until newt is available should do it?

| Peasant is easy to counter... Just wait a it uses blink and then you can kill it with foots and speed scroll.
And like Iced said a newt and some foots is enough to kill it.

first off if the person has half a brain they will get a frenzy aura second you will lose mass cause you are focusing on peasant
for the next idea a newt would cost to much during mass and even if you do get that money later by that time they have won the mass and you won't try buying a newt when they have 10 more units then you with buffs if they try to focus peasant while you are in their base focus on their base.

the fact is if they win the mass with the peasant they win by a lot with tons of units left over and you won't be able to counter even if you kill their peasant eventually cause their units will be buffer etc.
im not saying its not counter able I'm just saying your ideas are more expensive then you think and more reckless. trying to focus peasant during mass never works unless they are retards because if you do focus you will lose mass cause they have already killed half your units.
its counter able but you can't just simply do it unless you prepare before mass

| lol then they pull back and get more units the way to win is by harassing with serpents or acid against them but still it takes a while most will just focus peasant during mass and will fk themselves up

| I did a few more 1v1 games after this one today
The game was not as fabulous (From players that arent in clan)
and they did Peasant build (the one Chinese_Kid) was talking about. The game went pretty easy with me having 3 aoe and a cannon. i moved all the footies back like legal_life wrote on forums during mass and quickly sold my shoe and kept nova harassing till i had 400 gold. Then I quickly developed a cannon and by the time they massed... cannon just killed all units.
But then again... the people i asked to do 1v1 using peasant build were not known players so i may be wrong...
