Nothing special, cool effects and such things but hey it's year 2011.
They ruined it with next thing:
That gateway or whatever they use CAN destroy worlds and when actually Loki (Thor younger brother, actually he was adopted but whatever) wanted to destroy his own, where live ancient enemies of Asgard people (Thor world), Thor stopped him and lost Loki forever in unknown dimensions of universe (or whatever, just read mythology a little or google this thing). In other words they was able to destroy enemy anytime anywhere, instead they went into war from time to time. Epic isn't it. <_<
