| Right. The point of rep is so that users old and new know whether a user is reputable or not. If the argument against neg rep is that it's being used incorrectly, why include +rep?

This is a flawless argument, and the main reason I was so pissed off negative rep is "not allowed" Its a god damn function of the forums. To say neg minus is not allowed suggest a bit of a god complex on these forums from spider and whoever else tries to enforce this. The point of Rep has VANISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!Added (09-Apr-2014, 4:55 PM)

I don't see anything wrong with being able to dislike something I mean if I have a idea for CHF and I post it and it gets a lot more dislikes then likes then bond would know not to add that idea because the general public doesn't agree with it. And if a idea got a ton of likes he might be more likely to add it in.
as for a dislike button it cant be used to send rascist ,homophobic and other derogatory messeges it can only add a dislike
