First of all, I want to tell you guys that I know I post alot and you guys might think im a noob, but i want to share nice ideas.
1st Idea- Multi-Shot Tower (Already had this idea in another thread)- Shoots 3 arrows at once on units. You can upgrade to a Frost Tower of Terror(?) that has a frost ability and can shoot 5 different targets instead of 3. You can also upgrade the attack of the tower and the amount of targets it can shoot by buying them for 3k gold (?)
2nd Idea- Gamble Skill- I had an idea that when you choose your skills, there can be an option to gamble one of your skills. For example, you can choose to gamble for a 2% chance to get an ultimate skill on it. But if you don't get the ultimate, you get a random skill instead. What do you guys think? I think its a nice idea because 2% means that you only get a ulti for one out of every 50 tries. It is also not too op because you get a random skill if you fail instead of a skill of your choice "It's not how many hours you put into it, but what you put into the hours."-Micheal Jordan "Be the change you wish to seek in the world"-Ghandi
If the second idea was in place, I would use it every time. 2% chance to auto win, and even if you don't, you can still adapt to your other skill like in ars. Thanks to xXHarDCorEXx/bop240 for making my signature ^^
i like the second idea but 2% its not enough i think it would be nice if u get a 5 porcent or something aaannnndd if u try that gamble think u WONT be able to repick so ppl just dont try it and if they wont get it repick
What about 3%? And it wouldnt be auto-win, because you dont get to choose your 2nd ulti, it would random your ulti also. You could get a bad one like insta-kill.
Lol, i forgot about the repick part, but i think that jons idea is right that you cant repick if you choose to gamble. I think that 5% is a bit much cuz the whole point is to risk one of your skills for a slim chance of getting an ulti. An extra ultimate move would be way to op, maybe instead there could a small percent for getting mana shield.
Yeah... but the whole point is so that you WASTE one of your skills in an attempt for an ulti. the point isnt about GETTING the ulti. there is only a slim chance right there. And if you dont get it, it would basically be an ars for you vs custom skills from other people. If you guys really dont like the ulti one we could change it to randoming a secret item or recipe (same amount of chance) like frosty, lightspeed, ultidevastation claws, etc. If you don't get it, well let's just say you get a mechanical critter "It's not how many hours you put into it, but what you put into the hours."-Micheal Jordan "Be the change you wish to seek in the world"-Ghandi
lol not a good idea if all 3 heroes gamble there is a 9-15% chance that one of the heroes out of three will get an ulti
and if u do u win for ex starfall is the best spell available avatar of vengenace is kind of okay and torrential/druids r not so good for before mass
and why its a good idea -people playing 2 hero will be a t a slight disadvantage as they have less heroes to gamble wit
OVERALL there r only 5-6 spells that r totally useless that people have to yet find a way to succsfully use these include -thorns aura (maybe) -spiked carpace (maybe) -warp portal -death pact -dark ritual -mana drain (maybe)
and a few more
but still these skillz put u at a disadvantage which doesnt necesarily mean u lose VS a severe advantage that pretty much makes sure u win
so the advantage gain is way greater than the mild disadvantage as the gambles spell will prolly be upgraded last and might not come into use till late-game sig in construction
