| you can always get them after mass people jsut steal them from other bases and no there is not easy counter to golems till way late game which by then your screwed

| I hope people still arent arguing that golems are OP, yes they are very strong early game but they die so easy to summons especially chims. When some one is massing golems and you kill one it is a lot of gold your way and they lose out on 500 gold. You buy an item for your hero, you tech that all stays with you, you spend 500 on a golem and it gets killed, thats 500 down the drain. You need to kill at least 2 heroes for every golem you buy just to break even. There comes a point in the game where it is no longer efficient to spend your money on golems and that is when they become weak, almost useless, especially vs tech strategies.

| the only thing with golems that are u can't expect them. so like u said arctty that chims are effective against them, what are the chances that you will pick chims when somebody decide to go golems? eh, not sayin anything. i think golems are part of the game so, good list anyways. although, any1 tried beetles/trees against golems? cus i must think that these spells at lvl 4/6 would rape them no?

| Golems die like flies to Fiends and even Teched rifles.
People rage so hard because golems vannot be killed by aoe spells and HK spells (although if you kill the golemers hero, he is pretty fucked - which is when you go in and focus newts or speed scroll with fiends and newts; and even if you don't he will have to go back, giving you time to farm)
People say golems are op and unkillable. It is halways true because they are not killable with AOE. People indirectly look at CHF like some sort of mass AOE game (the majority of the players play mass aoe - especially the mid tier players).
And yes Golems are strong vs AOE - in fact THEY ARE THE COUNTER TO AOE. And considering that AOE is in fact OP, people assume that AOE is supposed to be the risk-free "kills everything" strat. Well it is mostly, aside from golems!
Everything but AOE and HK spells kills golems.
- Maulers (with tons of items) kills golem (although I would just sleep it)
- Summons (but can be dispelled - but it takes away APM - in which case it becomes a question about skills and APM rather than golems)
- Teching - yes Goleming compared to mass AOE (the cancer of CHF in my book) should motivate players to tech - which we see too little off.
- Donation (a spell that is way too op in my book)
- Torrential tribute, explosion, Charm, Yamato Canon, blade storm, and transmute to some extent, as well as chims and phoenix are also great against golems.
- Turtle, Catapults, Lizard... etc...
It is not that Golems are OP. The issue is that AOE players rage that their OP noob strat does not work on golems. Cry me a rivah!
I never lose to golems, or very rarely. Anyone who believes golems are op are welcome to play them against me. I will prove you wrong.
