| Ok this is my idea, It is based on dota so basically this map is footmen frenzy right and the terrain is dota image dota terrain in footmen frenzy map i can imagine it. And the towers is going to be dota towers which means you can upgrade the dota tower to lvl 1 2 3 and at the start you spawn gholes obviously instead of footmen and the shops will have ppl to choose item from like dota this is a good idea. PLus it is good to attract dota ppl with the sick terrain., Chf map could use this terrain it would be cool

| the map size wouldn't be increased a large amount but other footmen type maps in the past have done something similar to this and they werent very successful, game play is most important then comes 'prettiness' in a 8 yr old game its obvious ppl are playing for the unparalleled game play instead of huge importance on graphics, but its always a bonus to have. But as far as it being a forest type terrain instead of a arena type look idk how much that matters, or the shops being stores instead of ppl units like in dota.. that stuff isnt really important probably

| its not footmen if you do this. saying its footies just cause it auto spawns and is footies would make dota footies because it auto spawns ghouls...
and also its not exactly a sick terrain. dota isn't a sick terrain and its not the reason people play dota so they wouldn't just switch they would call it a rip off. And bond wouldn't do this cause its not a chf map... you can't just change a map and give it the same name

| yeah but it would be cool to make a footmen frenzy map with the terrain as dota and stuff And it isnt really important just cool if only you guys could imagine, So obviously the square around the shops would be the dota one and the tavern would be up top of the map and instead of the brick walls it is replaced with the thing that covers the shops which are like wooden fences and instead of the scout tower there would be a neutral tower which is the tree that shoots stuff and to upgrade it it would just increase damage. if you were to put this in the map obviously the tier 0 shouldnt sprawn footmen it should have a mode. Ok i will try to replica my terrain and try to post it its a very complex terrain as it needs stuff but would be cool to make a map called dota footmen frenzy if i was like a pro at map making i would give it a shot Added (2012-02-25, 5:14 AM)

exactly, its not those simple things that make ppl like dota.. its that the game has been around for like 7-8 years or something like that and they are brain washed and are use to playing it and it got big while there was millionsss of ppl on wc3. and its a good game over all for what type of game it is and had tons of time to develop.
Same reason ppl still play 5.4 and dont bother giving CHF a chance, its not becuz the map layout is a little different looking, they're brainwashed and ppl are use to it and comfortable. hard to teach old dogs new tricks. 
think about it.. how often do you guys look for random maps on the list to try out as opposed to just playing what you know you feel like playing when you sign on? I know i play what i know im in the mood for and what i know i already like like 96% of the time. Its simple as that.
