Ok so I noticed many, many people around on the forums, not only here but any forum at all are using the words "lol" every damn time they post something. Isn't that pissing you off USER?! You see someone saying "Heeey, I've been drinking yesterday and kissed that girl you know LOL" or something like "you are stupid, lol", "really? lol..", "I won't even consider your opinion. lol", "LOL"...
p.s: all of the above are copy/paste posts from other forum.
same goes for some dumb idiots with 'smileys' like "yup xD", "nope x]", "im dumb XD", "thats true story x)" in anything they say at all. I mean.. really, you smile when you say yes or no or anything that isn't funny at all?
Or when people say LOL HAPPY NEW YEAR, you literally laugh and say happy new year at the same time? Idk what about you guys but this hurts my EYES.
Im not a big fan of this stupid shit, but if I see anyone write like LAL or LUL, its like COME ON FFS..
I even experienced someone saying LOL in real life. WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THISSS...?!
Now you say LOL when you wanna laugh IRL when you hang around with your friends. Literally I went FACEPALM the moment I heard it, my mate couldn't stop laughing at it, my face however was full of pity and dislike as my ears were burning.
Too long; didn't read VERSION: I hate that everyone says lol in anything they say, same goes for "xD" "XD" etc.
Check the whole topic, do CTRL+F and type in "lol" in your web browser. I bet there is at least 1 post with that word in it. Same goes for any topic. If someone was to make a list of the most common word on the internet, LOL would be the top3, I can bet on that one.

Ok, I'll be serious for a bit. It depends on my mood or the setting. If it's a proper discussion like Stooges mirrors thing, I cut the lolz and just type into it but if it's a chirpy topic, then I'll put something chirpy with a lol. Something that would make me chuckle and hopefully at least someone reading chuckle a bit as well, ya know? Like I was talking to a friend once. "lol" is an overused word and when you see it enough, you'd know that when someone types "lol" and you know whether or not, if they're not laughing because it isnt even funny, So it makes you wonder why did they go "lol" for?
As for "xD" I never use that. I hate it myself. I see people try to insult people like this "it's because Flame can only win with stacked teams xD". to me, xD is like =P. Seriously, do you see anyone screwing their faces in an "xD" moment? I know I don't coz I "lol".

wait, you serious? I don't know anyone that says LOL irl down here but yeh, that is absurd to me and would make me feel out of place with that person. Things that belong on the internet should just stay on the internet.
