| Wow that's just sad. Why the hell did he do those heinous crimes? A guy who was becoming a doctor in uni and obviously very smart, just slowly withdraw from uni and just snapped eventually? Something must've happened to him but it's still no excuse to do that. that was just incredibly horrible and sad. A poor 12 year old girl that won't reach 13

I wouldn't be surprised. If he was skitzo for a long time, he couldn't have made it to medical school though and if it was short term, surely he was smart enough to figure out there was something wrong with him. Maybe it was something else like trauma which made him go loop.

Im pretty sure this guy has always been crazy. You know crazy people find an idol at a young age and try to become like him and do drastic things like this for example the joker. Getting a degree proves nothing more then someone who has been so crazed over someone like the joker to the extent they follow his steps and try to be like him.
he believes he is the joker and they say that the unknown gas he was using he tried to make joker gas you know. Which means that it wasn't just the most recent movie that he's been aspiring joker but for a longer time.
either way crazy. he just has a crazy look

| One develops schizophrenia typically in young adulthood. Theres many forms of schizophrenia like hearing voices, thinking aliens will kidnap you or hallucinating etc
If he was schizophrenic and knows it, I would guess it's not very easy to go tell someone about it either. Usually they are still quite aware of their surroundings but may think that for example some person is an alien trying to kidnap him but sees everyone else as normal, or just hear voices in one's head...
