I know that the cd was increased but it still didnt stop the exp tome abuse. Before, whole team could abuse it, and now when cd is a bit longer ’just’ one player in the team abuse it. If u go for these tomes, u only need 2-3 to get enough adventage and than to use that adventage to make even bigger lvl difference between u and others. The only way to fight this play style is to kill base with a tank or u need t2-3 units. Most of the time u got only 1 attempt. If a tomer guy is not a bigginer, he can defend his base easely. He will get a rune (just 350g) or Frost tower (just 250g) to give him a plenty of time to dispell tank, and since his skills r higher, an mauler will kick you and your tanks ass even without dispell. On the other hand, u need a 1300g for tank and scroll. The only time this kind of player fails is when they r too greedy to spend 500g for their base protection.
It seams to me that Tome of Expirience was originaly made to be used to gain one lvl in situations u really need just a bit extra exp. Like, when u r lvl 15 and u desperatly need your lvl 3 ulty asap. Or, if u have lvl 5 bears and u want them immune. My opinion is that the cd should be at least doubled.

each tome costs 1k and that is shitload, suppose whole team gets 3 of them each and thats 9k, 9k of a waste for lvls imo.
its balanced good.

yea that use to annoy me also when whole team abused them thats why i made it from 30 sec cd to 90 sec cd. I tripled it. you think it needs doubled again? lol 180 sec is probably a bit much.

People have been buying tomes since Footies was created. 90 seconds is a good time, and it's a legitimate way of playing the game - you sacrifice etching and items in hope of gaining a different advantage

It is fine the way it is. to be honest i dont use tomes at all i find that my money can go to better uses like teching, towers, ring and so on

maybe 2 mins tops but i believe its far i only buy them when i want to hero kill and need that advantage of level 3 death coild to put me over the edge of hurting badly to killing heros maybe if u made it exp instead of levels this would help ?

that is an interesting suggestion kon but if bond made it levels then it way give 1k exp therefore giving a really good head start (at mass) for people who do 2 hero build but if the exp is too low then later on in game it is useless

It often when ur lvl 15 and want ur lvl 16 spells u buy a tome. Exp instead of levels would ruin that,,,

not fair rly. buying them before the 15 mins is up would be useless then. lotta ppl would invest in defending their bases instead of buying tomes. would become unbalanced.
