also this is the 2nd comp i have had for hpmmbot so far also first one i used was a old 1GHz with 512MB ram lol but that crashed after a while from being on 24/7 so now i got that semi newer one i talked about for now
I know why ClanHPMM lags more now.. it just fully came to me.. If i put a new fresh bot program on that same server it would probably be nearly lag free. thats why it didnt use to lag with that old 1GHz comp i first had. but now theres a GIANT database full of every game from every player from almost 2 years now..(over 600k diff users) thats why theres a big lag spike at the end of every game from updating that database.. so when you're in a game and theres a big lag spike a game probably just ended..
also sometimes if someone does a !stats on someone it might jump for a sec to get the info out of the large database to display the players stats info..
thats why theres more lag all of a sudden now a days..
2 ways to fix that..
start with a new database with no stats (which no one will want)
or get a stronger server which i cant afford..
. I'll be happy to donate more in a week or two. Masta maybe hating on peeps trying to help Bond, but like me and Stooge say, it's for the benefit so that everyone can play CHF properly and to keep the bots running for everyone- There's no selfish advantage or gain for the donator that you may see on other games. you don't get extra win codes or unlocking an OP hero or anything except an awesome possible reward of a hero named after you lol. Also take note: I've seen people donate hundreds of dollars on online text-based games where the battles only consists of words lol so I haven't got a feeling of guilt of donating for a game with the best quality of game play and a great community, especially if it's the only game that I'm playing. So donate when you can and help the community out.
