No we don't. We keep the same. We are having the same elo so with the new hostbot you will start with 1700 elo so this new system will allow noobs to catch up easier and pro's elo harder... We are not resetting the elo. I know what I am doing. I still think is 25 wins is too high. We need to make it low then raise. So about 15. Right now we are introducing not really trying to fix problems.

if you knew what you were doing, me and f00ty wouldn't have to save your elo system for you...

anyway you need to have two ladders because the win/loss record is meaningless then. you don't reset the elo on noob bot, you just start fresh on pro bot.

for example i have 228-4 win record but its ONLY BECAUSE I BEAT MANY PUBS

if you transfer my account to new pro bot it will say i am 228-4 on pro bot which is stupid because i didnt beat good players to earn those stats. i just stomped pubs.

if you don't make 0-0 starting on new pro bot and just keep one ladder, then the stats will be all mixed up.

players like walter and terminator who suck already have 800 wins and they would get to keep that? even though all they did was beat pubs?
use logic its simple i cant believe i have to even explain this in such detail it takes too much of my time and effort

The elo only decides who is pro.... Not the win/losses. We are juding the pro with elo.

The ELO judges absolutely nothing except who stacks the most or plays the most games or goes on alt teams the most.

Like seriously, are you guys not getting this? Are you claiming F00ty is not top 10 due to the ELO?
Are you claiming me nowhere near rank 1000? LOL
Just a couple weeks ago I was rank 278 and then all I did was leave a few games or lose and LOLLLLL

Trust me, ELO decides absolutely nothing except who stacks or plays the most.
I really hope this thing gets into ur mindset.

(it also decides who is the most ELO lifer)

I get your logic. So the your current stats will be 0-0 and (same elo) but if you win one your win/loss will be 1-0 on the pro but also you get +1 on the noob hostbot but no elo change.

Your Current number of win / looses + your amount of ELO are used to calculate the amount of ELO you will earn or loose at end of the game. That's why there is no sense to keep old ELO if there is ONLY 1 leaderboard. Just look at the calculation formular.

Tier 2 bot ->
    - Keep old leaderboard for tier 2 bot with anyone above 1200 brought down to 1200.
    - Keep the old win rate and number of g ames

Tier 1 bot ->
    - Player who get between 900 to 1 200 ELO ON OLD LEADERBOARD can enter in tier 1 bot
    - And new leaderboard for tier 1 bot with 1 000 ELO Start + 0 win / 0 looses

no

if you win a game on the pro bot it doesnt affect the noob bot at all

if you win a game on the noob bot it doesnt affect the pro bot at all

theyre completely seperate and thats why they need SEPARATE LADDERS

you can keep all win/loss stats on the NOOB BOT how they are since some players earned them legit, i don't care about that.

BUT THE PRO BOT HAS TO START FRESH AT 1000 ELO 0-0.

you can only get to pro bot if you have 25 wins and 1300 elo on noob bot

its not that complicated

No if you win on the pro it should effect the noob as well. But it shouldn't' change the elo which is the important thing. Whats so bad about what I said? So people who got there win/losses will not be angry. And on the pro but the joining message will say there win/losses from pros. THE PRO IS STARTING FRESH (The win/losses not the elo)....

sigh....................................................random it takes so long to convince you of simple things...it took me months to convince you we need 2 tier bot, can you just listen to me and f00tys directions for once? we know what we are doing

PRO AND NOOB ARE SEPERATE BOTS
SEPERATE LADDER
SEPERATE STATS
SEPERATE ELO
THEY DONT AFFECT EACHOTHER AT ALL

PRO BOT NEEDS TO START WITH FRESH ELO FOR FAIRNESS SINCE THE NOOB BOTS ELO WAS ABUSED AND FOR SO MANY OTHER REASON I ALREADY SHOUTED AT YOU

IF PRO BOT WIN/LOSS RECORD AFFECTED NOOB BOT THEN PROS WOULD HAVE WORSE STATS ON NOOB BOT SINCE PRO BOT IS HARDER TO HAVE A GOOD RECORD IN...

please just do what we say its not that hard man

There are no implications in this. Since the ladder will not change in noob only the win/losses will which will mean the placement will not change.

Agreed with rest but there is just 1 little problem with this.

For example if you start to loose massivly on tier 1 bot you will get under 900 ELO. And if they don't affect each other you couldn't come back in tier 1 bot.

I will try to explain how to solve this problem later

Oh damm he has a good point if we start at 1000 if the pro losses and gets below 1000 what do we do. Judge from the noob elo well no since it is 1300 elo... Wait lets just fix this problem if you do go below 1300 it doesn't effect so once you get to tier 1 you cannot go back to tier 2.

Don't worry there is a way to solve this. But it's just so hard for me to explain this. Give me some time
