Hey all, I am going to be making many sample abilties. Mainly I will be using ChrIsicera's ideas and a few of my own, and bringing them to life in wc3 editor. Im going to keep an updated list here. ALSO, if you don't like an idea or you don't think it should be added, and it also seems to be mutually unwanted or you have a really good reason for it not to exist, I'll remove it from the list. Please do this so I don't waste time on needless abilities. I won't take any offense. -suggestions for these abilties are also welcome-
Question: I am also wondering If I can name the spoilers? It will eventually be a long list of abilities. For ease of the eyes I wan't to keep it condensed, and it seems spoilers may be the best way to do that.
(Status: Pending) Ranged Attack; Throws a hammer at target unit. Upon hit does 75 damage (+50 per/lvl) damage. If the target is stunned it takes an additional 20 (+20 per/lvl) damage - stun is removed.
(Status: Created/Downloadable) Entangling Roots [ Q ] - Roots all units in target, 200 (+10 per/lvl) radius area. Rooted units take 50 (+50 per/lvl) damage and are incapacitated for 2 (+0.25 per/lvl) seconds.
Venomous Strike [Q.] - Target unit is damaged for 50 (+30 per/lvl) base damage and has a slow poison effect for 4 seconds. It's movement speed is reduced by 20% (+5% per/lvl) and takes an additional ((+5% per/lvl) +10%) * (Target units total health)) damage over the entire duration.
Acid Shot [W] - Ranged acid shot dealing 50 (+50 per/lvl) damage upon impact. It also reduces the targets armor by 5 (+2 per/lvl) for a 5 seconds and if the target unit is suffering from Venomous Bite poison, the unit is also stunned for 2 (+0.25 per/lvl) seconds and takes an additional 20 (+20 per/lvl) damage.
Aspect of the Spider [E] - Increases the movement speed and life regeneration rate of nearby friendly units by 10% (+5% per/lvl).
Carrion Barrage [R] - Sends a carrion missile at target location damaging all units it passes through for 150 (+50 per/lvl) damage. You can use this ability 4 times before it goes on its 50 (-5 per/lvl) second cooldown. Automatically resets usages after 20 seconds.
Valorous Strike [ Q ]: Next hit will do 10% of targets maximum health as damage +100 (+30 per/lvl) base damage. The attack bounces to one other random target dealing the same damage. If this ability lands a killing blow on an enemy hero, this unit gains 25 permanent extra hitpoints. Passive: While off cooldown, you gain 10% faster attack speed.
Retribution [W]: Every third attack you hit for damage equal to 5% (+1% per/lvl) of your maximum health, and are healed equal to 5% (+1% per/lvl) of your maximum health.
Divine Protection [E]: Sheild absorbs 10% (+5% per/lvl) of all damage for 5 seconds. Passive: While this ability is off cooldown, you gain +25% to attack speed.
Judgement [R]: Creates a ring of judgment light. Does damage equal to 10% (+3% per/lvl) of your maximum health multiplied by the number of heroes in the circle being judged. For each enemy hero that dies this way, your hero gains health equal to 10% of his maximum health. Cooldown: 80 (-10 per/lvl) seconds.
Skyfall [F]: Does a lot of damage. The closer to the center of the drop, the more damage the enemy unit takes. You take damage equal to 15% of your maximum health upon landing. Range is global.
Hurl Boulder [ Q ]: Hurls a boulder at a target unit doing 50 (+50 per/lvl) damage and stunning for 1 (+0.25 per/lvl) seconds. Upon hit it will bounce to one other target doing the same damage, and stunning for the same duration.
Bash [W]: Gives a 10% (+5% per/lvl) chance to bash an opponent stunning them for 0.75 (+0.25 per/lvl) seconds and damaging them for 50 (+30 per/lvl) hit points.
Rock Shards [E]: Creates rock shards units when you get below 75%, 50%, and 25% health. They last 8 (+1.5 per/lvl) seconds. Ability resets looking for health checkpoints after every 20 seconds.
Earths Defense [R]: Sacrifices 75% of your current mana to heal all allied units for 45% (20% per/lvl) of your maximum hit points and increase their movement speed to max for 5 seconds. Cooldown 100 (-10 per/lvl) seconds.
Every 20-40 seconds, one of three effects will happen: ---------------------------------------- 1) 40% chance; you are healed for 12%-15% (+2% added to max% per/lvl) of your maximum life. 2) 20% chance; you deal 0-300 (+50 to max damage per/lvl) damage to a random enemy hero. 3) 40% chance; you hex a random hero for 5 (+2 per/lvl) seconds.
(Status: Created/Downloadable) Slams the ground dealing 40 (+40 per/lvl) damage in a radius of 250 (+20 per/lvl). If there is a Wind Walked unit within this radius, it is taken out of stealth and dealt an additional 25 (+25 per/lvl) damage.
Effect 1: Increases mana regen of units in range by 50% (+10% per/lvl) Effect 2: Every third spell cast by units under the effect of Brilliance Aura will deal 10% (+1% per/lvl) of their maximum mana as damage in an aoe of 200 (+25 per/lvl). -Total damage caps at 65 (+35 per/lvl) -Spell count stacks remain even out of Brilliance Aura.

If the marked target is killed within 4 seconds, the unit will explode dealing damage to all other enemy units in a 150 (+20 per/lvl) radius for 15% (+2% per/lvl) of the dying units maximum health.
-Example of the numbers- If a unit is hit by the exploding target of Rupture Organs, and the unit has for example 1500 health, the unit would take: L1 Rupture: 225 damage; 150 AoE L4 Rupture: 345 damage; 230 AoE L6 Rupture: 375 damage; 270 AoE (Keep in mind a level 1 target will not have 1500 health. It'll have something closer to 775 which would put the (150)AoE damage at 116.25)

My idea behind this ability is to make a conditionally better nuke, but hinder it by helping the attacked unit, which I do by removing stun from the target unit of the ability. I can obviously reduce damages to a more manageable level. Suggestions on that are welcome. Tell me whats imba and i'll fix it. Otherwise, if it's the ability you don't like in general, i'll remove it as a whole. I'm only trying to spark ideas and potentially make CHF even better.
Since I haven't played much CHF yet, im still unclear on the normal damage output from a single ability. Mainly im going on the premise of how the ability sounds.
EDIT: I've edited Aftershock Hammer to be weaker. Dunno if that helps. If you have ideas on stats, I'm always open to the help.

u see, if u picked bolt together with that hammer, u would stun first and then hit someone with the hammer which in total was to deal well over 1k+ dmg at lvls 6.
Yeah, it would be a passive, I should put that in there xD
EDIT: 1) I also just found that I didn't make a damage animation for part 2 of the ability Murloc Blasphemy. I have added an animation. 2) Added (passive) to the description of Murloc Blasphemy on this page.

Now, is it possible to add color to the spoilers? Dunno if I like without color. Seems harder to follow in my opinion.

Its because your first post is now too old im sorry but i cant help you with that.. but i think the moderator of this forum can still edit them you could ask them to edit it when u need to. and i dont know how to add colour to spoilers :/

Well, if I can't edit it, then thanks for your offer, I'll let you This is what I'd like added. Is there a way to give me control like killer said? It may be tedious for you and vamp if I have to keep asking. (Also, you can use your own eye to make it look nice, and easy to follow)
